I purchased a TVS Scooty Teenz Electric, one and half year ago and this is my experience till date.


The customer care of TVS motors is the worst among all and they just forget the people once the product is sold(I am not aware of petrol models, TVS Electric support is the worst). The service people never have a feeling that TVS Electric Teenz is a'vehicle' itself.  I suffering since an year with these guys and I contacted 2 times over email and 5 times called to their 1800xxxxxxxx customer care no, even spoke to an supervisor there. They make fake promises that they will return the call.  After sales support of TVS Teenz electric is the worst among all. This are the things which went bad with TVS Electric within a year.


-One time, the charger has went bad - Rs. 1200 for new charger.(Charger provided was a cheap Chinese one)


-Each time, the charging takes around 7hrs and now barely I can go for 30 kms with one recharge.


-If tyre gets punctured, Normally technicians are not ready to do it and we need to take to the service center and its pathetic over there.


-In my opinion, If you see the overall costs of charger batteries, its equivalent to go for a petrol model(in TVS teenz electic case, I am not very sure of other brands, Some brands are heard to offer even 100 kms on one recharge.)


Even with very meager use of the bike, it gives so much of complaints nowadays that I feel I should have gone for a petrol model.


-Break Lining gives me heavy sound, tech say you need to change the complete set.


-Pick up of the bike has gone down considerably within a year. Suspects, the motor is of low quality.


-Suspension got damaged


-Head Lights are not focusing


-Back seat lock got damaged


-Untrained Service technicians and never they care for customers or for the Electric TVS teens. For them, this is not a vehicle itself.


Its highly unacceptable that a reputed company like TVS releases the product without much home-testing. The bike, with meager usage, gives hardly 30kms per recharge and it takes another 7hrs for recharge. The speed of the bike has reduced, suspecting the quality of motor, the suspension is getting damaged at the cost of comfort, Tyre is getting frequent punctures, brake lining gives heavy sound. 100's of problems within this short time.


I have contacted the TVS center, and let me see what their reply is: Will update once I get a reply.

I contacted TVS, 2 times over email and 5 times over phone to the customer care. No replies till date other than fake promises that someone will return the call very soon(First time they told, in 24hrs, then, 3 days, then 3 days, now 5 days). Pathetic company ever. Never buy their products.
