I bought this bike in 2004, so far I have completed only 47, 000 km. This is a wonderful bike when it comes to fuel efficiency, as the mechanic who services my bike is a friend of mine. I came to know that the engine case for this bike is the same as that of the Apache series of bike with some cosmetic changes.
The engine is smooth but when the speed crosses 60 km, you get turbulence after 70km/hr the bike is stable but there is a little loss of fuel efficiency from 55 km/lt to 48 km/lt.
The one thing that I feel annoying about this bike is that, the float needle in the flue cup does not seat properly and some time the fuel flows down the drain line.
