Buying a TVS Bike, better donate you money. Review on TVS Centra

I feel all TVS product are same piece of Shit.

I bought my TVS Centra in 2004-Sept, I was attracted by there advertising and the the mileage tempted me.

While I took out the bike from the showroom, My indicator switch started ging me a problem after I rode for 3 KMS, I took the bike back to the showroom and checked. The Mechaninc decieved me telling that this is a new bike and along with time it will be OK. I trusted TVS and thought that they will replace or make it ready in the service. And till now, the Indicator switch problem is not solved

I got only the Mileage of 75KM/Ltr.

There Tyres are of Very bad quality and it use get Punctured every alternate week. When I reported the problem to Megdooth Motor, they simply ignored it.

Gears:The gear ratio is very poor. I cannot ride with doubles in traffic on 2nd gear.

Morning Problems: The bike takes lot of time to heat up. The idealing keeps dropping unless I travel for about 3-6 KMs.

Breaks:Power Breaks during Rainy season and Need power on normal season.

Chain Sprakets:I have replaced Chain Spraket twice, 14000Kms and 24000KMS (People say I am a very good Bike rider)

Head Lights:Very good

Ignition Lock: Some times in Parking people stare at me, as if I am trying with different keys to rob somebosy else's bike. Though I take care to park the bike under shelter I have hard time opening the Handle Lock and Put on Ignition.

Paint:Mine is a Green Centra with Teflon Lock. The bike looks, likeeee 2 months old. (Please dont praise for my maintenance)

While I drive doubles, the Vehicle's front Wheel raises up (A good bike for doing Wheeling) on Humps.

I had fallen 3 times. And now I now I know how to manage.

This does not happen on Baja CT-100 and Hero Honda Splendour.

Over All (Sarcastically) this bike is very good for people who want to waste money.

This way, I think TVS Motors cannot survive in market. Let me see the decline or take over of TVS motors. ( Iam really burning from inside after investing on this stupid machine)

Ahaaaaaa, I forgot to tell you one more experience with TVS.

When Apache was launced, I though I would give this bike and take Apache.

Assuming the brand image of TVS, I had lots of expectations for buy back.

While I had given the bike for servicing to Meghdooth Motor, they gave me a buy back offer on Apache on my request.

One person who had come to evaluate/Inspect my back, appointed by Meghdooth Motor was a typical joker (What else can you expect from TVS Motors).

He had a quarter KG gold bracelet and Chain in his hand and on neck, his shirt was half opened (2 buttons were open), a good red mouth (Haaaa haaa haaaa chewing PAN). Three gold rings in his hand fingers and a 3rd class dirty mobile phone with a beautifully stinking body. He was a typical Black and ferocius - Munna Bhai.

He came with a style and gave a offer to my bike...........................................................-----------------
-------------------------------_____________...........????????????????? can you imaging the offer .................................It was Rs.12000/-. Please note that the Bike was just 14 Months old at that time.

A Hero Honda splendour of same age will have resale value of 32000/-

I really did not expect this from TVS. Now I have no respect for any TVS products.

Can you imagine, the returns if you have to sell your TVS bike ??????????

My sincere suggetion to all of you is to think twice before buying any TVS product. I myself have guided so many of my friends while they were purching bike.

You can only trust on TVS Scooty and Fiero-1......................
