Just a note to add to the current conversation about noise on TCL's split aircon noise. I just bought a TCL window type and the noise level is unbelievable! In addition to an unsatisfactory level of running noise, when the compressor kicks in, it sounds like an aircraft taking off. Certainly could not use this in a bedroom. There are a host of online reviews making the same comments on TCL products. It's time TCL did something about quality control.


Same old story; should have checked out the online reviews before I bought!
