I am the customer of Syndicate bank from aroud 8 years. Its my first saving bank account which was student account( now regular saving) . Syndicate bank is a worst bank avilable in India. I have account in Kallianpur branch udupi. I never seen bank employees so lazy, greedy and not having much knowledge of their work like in Syndicate bank. They treat us like beggers begging for their service. Go to bank any time they have one ready made answer Servers are down, computers are down, Come tomorrow. I applied for ATM card, it took 5 days to get ATM card. Recently my ATM card got expired so I went ro branch to take new Card. They gave me card and PIN covered in a sealed cover. I nust opened the seal and found the secret PIN was so secret that it was not even visible at all. I asked the bank guy he blamed me saying May be I opened it wrongly? How pathetic its clearly seen that numberes are not visible in PIN area and theg are blaming customer. I asked to reset the PIN, they told me it will take 5 more days to get Reset PIN, if you are in urgent then apply for lost car, for which extra 150rs will be charged but you will get it soon. I was not in position to wait for 5 days, so paid 150 rs to get new ATM card.


2) I applied for general FD : They told me come back tomorrow to collect the receipt as printer is not working now.


Syndicate is nost pathetic branch its emoloyees dont even know the meaning of customer service. They lack in knowledge too. We can see always employees asking each other how to activate this and that. If we got to ine counter he says please go to counter 6. When you reach counter 6 he says please go to counter 3 and counter 3 guy went for tea break wait for 1 hour for his return. This bank is not at all adopting to new generation speed and technology. For anything we have to run to home branch. My FD got matured and I never got a notification from branch about it. All I have to track by myself and run branch 10 times. Syndicate banking app and Internet banking website are another disaster. Its slow and horrible. UI, functionalities all need major upgradations.


We will get hardly 1 or 2 ATM in City area that too where its branch situated. ATM service is Ok. We can get money, change PIN, check balance without issue.


Over all syndicate bank is not mean't for todays generation banking. They need serious steps regarding customer service and technology. At the end its customers money by which bank is running bank should understand that point.
