Yes, its a brand and a big one. But then, all they serve is ice-creams right? Agreed that the presentation is definitely they can earn huge brownie points for but does that really mean they can charge at par with almost a meal for two at a decent restaurant?
Nope, not worth it. As a common man, I'd still prefer a chocobar or a kesar pista and not something with that much of a mix n match. Have a look at their signature sundaes and you'll get to know that there are times when experiments fail. And that's what seems to have happened to Swensen's.
I happened to go there with one of my office colleagues who wanted to give them a try. And that turned out to be disastrous. Spent like never before and that too, on a mouthful of strawberries. Ewwww!
In the end, its just too pricey to say the least!
