I have been using this bike for the last 12 years. I got this bike in 1993.I have covered around 1 Lakh 12 thousand Kms. I changed the bore and piston at 71 000 Kms. The bike is good in terms of handling power. If u want mileage drive slow. Even though this model is discontinued, we can get the parts easily. Though I bought a new TVS STAR CITY, I still have this bike and take it out ocassionally. I have to service the bike as it is a long time since I serviced it. It has got good mechanicals and the parts last longer. Over all a good product which was launched when the bike segment was turning to 4 stroke. Service support is exlent in Chennai. I have taken this bike fo long runs and no problems like stalling of engine. Smooth commuter. Gear shifting is slick, seats are broad. The only parts I have changed apart fm bore and piston is shocks batteries, nothing else. Good engine oil consumption.
