I first came to know about Susmita after the Miss Universe contest.Before that I had not bothered to know about her.After she was crowned I started observing her a little more carefully.

Like other beautiful ladies she too made her debut in Bollywood with ’’Dastak’’ which flopped.However she did some meaningfull roles in Zor,Aankhen,Main Hoon Na, and Filhaal.

In Filhaal she actually did prove that she had it in her to make it big in Bollywood.Infact I feel an actress like her with her unconventional looks,accentuated by her height makes her eligible to appear in the world stage also.

However my review concerns her personality and not her films as I am writing under Bollywood personalities.

She is a lady who comes across as someone very confused.Confused in the sense that perhaps her sense of direction regarding her personal life seems very unclear even to her.

She has been through a number of failed relationships all of which broke down because the chemistry just did not work.Whenever I see her in any interview she comes across as a personality who tries to hide her inner weakness by displaying a certain degree of brashness(which she actually is not) and an overt attempt to drive home the point,that she is supremely confident of herself(which also is not true).

The smoking of cigarette in public seems like an act of defiance towards the society(the Indian society,especially where women smoking in public is a big taboo).WHY?Because certain members of this so called society have apparently wronged her in her personal life?Then this is a very defective reaction on her part to say the least.

I can tell you it will  in no way perturb those people even to the minimal extent.Her seemingly scant regard to the institution of marriage by adopting a lovely daughter only serves to confuse people like me that is Sushmita not desirous of becoming a biological mother?Or is it simply but very ironically a case of Grapes Gone Sour?

To me,personally however this is yet another attempt on her part to divert attention of all and sundry from the intense pain she is undergoing within herself and trying so very hard to suppress.

Personalities like her are more than often very successful in their professional lives,as somehow the pain acts as a catalyst and motivater to bring out ones best in proffessional life.However the concerned person still suffers.It is quite tragic in that the person actually is able to give full attention to his/ her proffession, as his/ her personal/family life is somewhat not what is considered to be okay and hence excells in it;but then is it something he/ she desires?I can confidentaly say NO!

No person in the world can maintain sanity if he/she continues to deny inner feelings,the turmoil and the pain for long.Sometimes the person himself /herself does not understand the direction or the philosophy of his/her own life.He/She is CONFUSION PERSONIFIED.

In this respect Ms.Sen is like an incense stick spreading her exquisite flavour(through her beauty and acting).If anyone does not know the correct way of handling her, he gets burnt by the smouldering tip of the stick and of course the stick eventually burns itself to ashes perhaps leaving only a small amount of ash and a lot of grieving fans with fragrant memories.

I on behalf of all her fans , wish her all the best for future and an happy and lasting family(and proffessional) life for very many years to come.How we all wish the incense stick continues spreading fragrance throughout our lives without burning itself out!
