I would like to review the album Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie...This cd is probably the deepest you WILL EVER hear Alanis go....Not only did it pick up where Jagged Little Pill left off at, but it also brought us up to date where Alanis was at the time and beyond!!! The highlight of this cd is Thank U...but I think her other songs on here really go way beyond Thank U and it was a major shame that radio and the general public didn’t get it!!!!!

Her other songs I would like to direct your attention to are Joining You, Sympathetic Character and I Was Hoping!!!! There are many others I could pick out.

*Joining You is a song about suicide, this song she wrote about a very close and dear friend, often rumored it was about a male friend who is gay, no matter, this song is VERY deep!!!! It is edgy and very clearly a great song by Alanis!!!

*Sympathetic Character is one about an abused person, she is very straight forward in this song!!! I Was Hoping is about how people tend to judge others.....I highly suggest this cd!!!! I say if you are going to get into Alanis you should start with Jagged Little Pill and then play Junkie right after ( because if you did not then you would be very lost ).

*Another song that I feel is a highlight is U R, this song should have been a radio hit for Alanis and for reasons this song never got released ( a shame I think ), it takes you back to Jagged Little Pill ( it has a harmonica in it which takes you back to the classic Jagged Little Pill feel ), it was once said it could have been the next Ironic, and I feel it would have been if it had been put out to radio.....

If you like Alanis and do not own this cd, I HIGHLY suggest it..very deep, very entertaining and very edgy!!!!! Over all I give this cd 10 stars and beyond!
