Pros:
competitive pricing, look
Cons:
Too poor after sales at least in non metros, inefficient technical workmen

I have handled several other brands of inverters and for Sukam what I can say is- overall, a good product, at least not bad when compared

with competitive brands. But people need to keep the level of actual service of the company in mind before making any buying decision.

My personal experience with my SUKAM Sine I inverter is also not much brighter than most of other reviewers those who have seen the darker side of the coin.

Bought it with two 150 AH Sukam batteries. After nine months, batteries stopped taking charge and Inverter kept on charging and charging. On complain- engineers tested the batteries (Taken Charge for that!!!)  and reported those as faulty. It took 13 long months and near hundred phone calls to various levels of the company to get those replaced. These 13 months, the set remained off.

Now, after four months of replacement of the batteries- the inverter started giving trouble (Well if we call it trouble). The output is over 260 V A/C not known of what cycle while it should be near 220 V A/C and of 50Cycle (Plus Minus 2% as Sukam claims). Result: severe noise in all the fans when running in inverter output, high level of noise in Tube light chock coils, Short lived CFLs.

The so called Engineers , not sure how well trained to handle their own jobs, seem to be more interested in just patching up the issues instead of trying to realize the true trouble and trying to troubleshoot.

In conclusion- I have no complain against the set as any technical item can come up with trouble anytime. But the men behind the item need to act rationally without trying to make the people who have paid for the item fool.

Now my question is, I have lost 13 months from the precious 24 months Guarantee period of the inverter, will that be given to me? The company does not seem to have any answer.
