Well, I picked it up because Yukichi Yamamatsu tried to execute his dream into reality.
It is not easy for a cancer survivor to plan a visit at an advanced age.
Now, he had every odd against him- language, food, money.
But, somehow he turned his experiences into a book and did well.
He may not be a great manga artist- a fact he has often accepted - but is a witty person.
This is a sort of travleogue and quite an interesting one.
He depicts India in his own way- mosquitoes, traffic, fleecing touts- but still lavishes praise.
It is a good book!
