I had to send raakhis in India so we decided to buy from some ecommerce site so that it could be delivered to our native place.
We have searched the google and found lots of results but considering
the reputation and name of times group we have decided to go to indiatimes.com.
We bought raakhis on 14th august and made the payment using my HDFC Net banking account which i believe is instant payment method. after a long wait when we have checked the status we found that the item was shipped on 21st August and hence it could not reached even after one day of raakhi.
The worst thing is we are given an AWB number to track the item from AIRMEX courier. given AWB Item was absolutely wrong as AIRMEX told us that it could not be more than 9 digit code.
We called AIRMEX Delhi, AIRMEX Mumbai and even after putting all the effort we dont know the status of the raakhi.
We have made a complain/query regarding this and got the response exactly after 48 hours saying that due to large volume of orders and query they are not able to update everything instantly.
I am a regular user of amazon, pixmania and lots of different website in the UK and never faced such problem. They are very quick for status update and all.
I have faced similar problem with parcerforce worldwide. They failed to delivery my packet in 3 days time and they paid full amount as refund which we cannot expect at least from indiatimes.
I would highly recommend NOT TO USE THIS PATHETIC ECOMMERCE SITE if you want a sure delivery on time and proper customer support services.
