Worst experienced with the bank. Review on State Bank Of India

One of the most backward and worst banks what I have experienced. Its still working with 1947 rules and regulations. Still phone banking and netbanking is ti applied through letter and seperately and doesn't come with your welcome kit. Still for any issues you have to go to the same branch where your account is and deposit or withdraw or do any operations. While with other private banks you can deposit at any branch irrespective of your account's branch. And many facilities are just 1 phone call away in private banks while it is not the case with sbi. To change your account to a different branch you just need to go to any branch and submit the application while for sbi you have to go to ur current branch get it approved and submit it to the new branch where you want to locate. So they still follow old rules and regulations. Still they charge 5-10 rupees on inter banking NEFT transactions that's really annoying. There interest rates are low but there other charges like atm card annual fees etc are high. Overall a bad experience.
