I open my saving account in SBI in 2009 and activated after a week and for all thing related bank I have to go to bank.Also I get my debit card after a months after applied and get the pin code after another 15 days.
Although you can find SBI ATM in all parts of india so its a good thing and can anyone can withdraw money in india.
But the service of SBI is pathetic which spoiled the all other good thing of SBI. Although SBI have less Interest rate then other bank which is a good thing.
So if you want a gov bank with saftey go for SBI.
