I am not here to tell you that you don't use SBI. I am here to share my worst experience of my life.
As SBI ATM or branch is everywhere in india, it is good for rural areas also. But the policy of state bank of india is very bad.
I am a student and I am using state bank of India account from last four years.
First bad experience with SBI is. when I was withdrawing money from SBI ATM and it shows that there is no money in your account but the fact is that there was money in my account. I contacted customer service with call number 18004253800. They told me that you can withdraw your money by ATM and they did nothing. Till three days I tried but money could not be withdrawal. After three days I came to the SBI branch and told the problem then it was solved.
My second bad experience is, when I was trying to withdraw money from ATM money could not be withdrawn and it shows that I have withdrawn 1600 rupees. Then I again contacted customer care they told me to wait for 24 hr, nothing happened. I again contacted they told me to wait for whole day. Again nothing happened. I contacted again. this process continues for 6 days then my money came back into my account.
My third experience is that SBI has announced their policy that if you hav less than 3000 in your account money will be cutted as fine.
As those people have lesa than 3000 in their account are students, farmers, poor people. I have also loosed my money as fine, there was less money in my account from 3000
SBI should simply say that students, farmers, poor people should not use SBI facility.
Those who lost their money are all those who have lack of money.
