Yesterday there was an impressive half page ads on all major newspapers about staples opening a branch in Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
Ad Promised loud and clear attractive free gift on purchases. This naturally attracted loads of people to step in. What surprised the visitors was the board at the entrance that their stock was over on the offered 8 GB storage drive. Pooh, looks like they ran out of stock even before the ribbon was cut….
Other offers also did not seem to be relevant. The store staffs were poorly informed on the goods they sold. I checked out the prices, not so impressive. My neighborhood bookstore guy gives me a better deal and a cheerful smile every time I step in.
STAPLES, . We have choices.
First place don’t promise if you can’t keep one. Your Staple Pin is Bent and is not keeping the Papers together:)
