Recently we went to St Johns hospital in Kormangala for treatment of minor elbow fracture in an emergency for my sister on 3 oct 2016 at 8 pm .They made us do all unnecessary tests like ECG, CT scan, gave oxygen supply, drips which was not at all required. The worst part was that they took X-ray 7 TIMES! saying its not coming clear in one go and when they handed the reports, those reports were not ours. They simply put our name and gave it . The reports were supposed to be of elbow, but they gave us some surgery x -ray, knee x- ray and hip X- ray . After paying for x-ray test, they demanded separate charges to give us the report. There was no summary given to us when asked and suggested antacid and fever medicine for fracture. Our simple elbow fracture in emergency they made us stay 6 hrs in hospital and after that repeatedly asked us for admission.
They had given 2 injections but charged 10 syringe and when asked for explanations, the duty staff and doctors shouted and rudely spoke to us .Overall we have to pay close to 10, 000 for a simple plaster!
They asked us to give a legal document saying its an accident in public place though she fall on her own on railway station road.
This hospital is totally into money making by misguiding people. They charged for registration twice and even for giving bills by saying its hospital policy.!
Please do not go to this hospital if you want to save your life and life of your loved ones. This hospital can misguide you to any level just to make money.
