I thought the ad was hilarious, a good laugh. However, one wonders why coke and pepsi spend hundreds of thousands of dollars just to take digs at each other. I mean, I’m not going to buy Sprite or Mountain Dew because I saw their ad. It’s very clear for me...first choice Coke, then Thumsup, then Pepsi, then Sprite etc etc... I’m sure it’s like that for most people.

I guess the ad is good entertainment value, but I can’t help thinking Sprite messed up since they helped the pretty non descript advertising campaign of Mountain Dew stand out...therefore more people now know about Sprite’s competitor than before!
