If you are getting tired of the same old Coca flavor, try Sprite! Sprite is a product of the Coca Cola Company.

Sprite is a clear soda made with a lemon-lime flavor. It is also healthier for you because it is caffeine free and low in sodium. If you have been advised by your doctor to cut back on the caffeine and/or sodium in your diet, Sprite could be a wonderful alternative.

Sprite is a carbonated beverage so you will still get the ’’zing’’ of a regular soft drink. It is a light drink compared to the dark colas. The flavor of Sprite is quite tangy, hence the lemon-lime flavoring. I have always liked the lemon-lime flavor so Sprite is one of my favorite drinks. I also suffer from more than the usual amounts UTI infections and have to limit the caffeine.

Taste Compared to 7Up

Sprite has a rather mild taste as compared to 7Up and much sweeter in my opinion. I find that 7Up has much more carbonation giving it more fizz, and, therefore,giving Sprite a smoother flavor. Sprite can also be used for mixing drinks. It will give you a sweeter flavor than 7Up when used for this purpose.

Another popular use for Sprite is in making punch. A quick and easy recipie is 1 package of lime sherbert, 1 package of pineapple sherbert, 1 or 2- 2 liter bottle of Sprite and 1- 2 liter bottle of ginger ale (depending on amount of punch you want to make).
