I have read many reviews here. But sorry to say that none of them is 100% perfect. They generally doesn't exactly point out where the problem is in the movie but just moves around here & there nearby it.
I understand audience sentiments for spiderman regarding his destiny created in the film like a helpless boy(who can't fight alone & defeat all superheros)& later on an evil boy.But whats the director's fault in it.He has only the option to show that stuff which is printed in the comics.& most important thing is that this is what spiderman's style, which distinguishes him from the other superheroes. **This style is what shown in comics & loved by american people there.
*(If u like u can even read first comic of venom published in 1987)
Yet I want to tell u that this type of image of spiderman will not remain in the 4th installment. He will be backed with the powerful & strong image which he is known for.
*Now I will tell u where the movie really lacks.
1.SPEED
The movie lacks in its pace. The film is so slow that sometimes we feel that"is it really a superhero movie which r generally so fast & absorbing?"
2. ACTING
*It also lacks in acting skills especially by tobey maguire & kirsten dunst. Many times in the movie there comes a feeling that does maguire knows acting? especially when he weeps on osborn's death, it looks like that someone has kept knife on his neck & forced him to cry. Dunst also not look that pretty like 1 & 2 & also goes down when we talk of performance.
In contrast actors playing harry, sandman(church) & venom(topher greece) have given quite good performance which saves the movie.
3. ACTION SCENES
And what about the action scenes. They have great special-effects & technically perfect but r not filmed well & generally look like blinks. For many of them I would suggest to show them in slow motion.
PS: Sorry, if u find my english not gramatically correct
