When we return back from Europe after a long stay in 2008, we were in search of good school in Aundh area as we live in Pimple Saudagar. There were few condition of us. 1. Religiously, As we are non Hindu, we want to keep our kid away from Hindu culture, Cristian culture can be erased from kids mind later. 2.
We want our son to study in ICSE, but there are only Vidya Vally School / Podar which are far away. 3. We want our son to grow with kids from middle class families. 4. We want to keep our son away from sport like Cricket and choose something like Soccer. 5. Schools primary focus should be best of eduction not a time-pass activities.
Spicer fits in the bid of above all. And we are extremely happy that since last 3 years we are getting more than what we were expected. Our kids is in Higher KG now and he is excellent in Mathematics and Science, He is good in addition, subtractions, multiplications, etc. Also he do understands the currency, he can go and shop anything from any shop within 100Rs and keep audit. Surprisingly my son is not fan of Tendulkar, he likes Messi.
Those have return back from US/Europe will never like this school as it focuses only on academics. If you are looking for the star school with lot of extracurricular then this isn't school for you. For us extracurricular wasnt priority, that we can give our kid in so many different ways.
Most of the parents have bad thoughts about Rana the VP but never faced him such a rude. We resolved couple of complaints smoothly with teacher in very nice way. If you know what your kids is doing and how he/she is progressing and you want your kids to grow good in academics then this school is best in area. I would rate it above DAV and Loyla.
