I have traveled to different parts of the world and traveled extensively in the country as well. Being a regular traveler means you come across a number of airlines and airports. However, the experience with few airlines becomes so bad that you remember it forever. I had the same experience with the Spice Jet Airlines a few months ago.
My ticket had clearly imprinted that I had to confirm the flight schedule a day before the flight. I called in the customer care for the same and to my surprise, no one received the call for a long time. After 30 minutes a lady received the call and confirmed my status. However, when I reached the airport I was informed that the plane is delayed by 90 minutes. When I tried to inquire about that, the staff did not provide any answers.The airplane was not in the best of condition with my seat worn-out to a good extent. Since I had no choice, I somehow adjusted with the seat. There was little space to maneuver between the seats, so it was extremely uncomfortable to sit for long. The airplane was not particularly clean as well with few napkins here and there.
The staff was polite and they tried to serve the passengers with utmost sincerity. The biggest disappointment was the food served by the airlines. I was served Peas and mashed potatoes and Paneer sticks. It tasted stale and I could not really make out any flavor in the food at all. The Paneer Sticks were way too hard as well. As dessert, the airline served Apple Pie which was a disaster. It was too sweet and did not have a predominant Apple flavor as well.
Overall, the flying experience was not an affair to remember. If they improve the in-flight food and the seats, I would definitely think about flying with them again.
