Spicejet, give it a miss if you are tavelling with someone you care and are attending a function that means a lot to you.

Traveled recently with my wife and 11 month old baby out of Chennai for a function in Mumbai which I missed due to a 2 hour outbound delay and then followed it up with a deal clinching 1 hour inbound delay the following day.

The fact that one cannot get a refund just adds to the misery .... yes there are some speculators but then what about genuine issues ?

Curt, unfriendly, badly trained and immature staff added to the pleasure of spicing up my temper as also the fact that such delay meant that we went almost went hungry due to the ridiculous timing … these nuts do not provide anything else other than the complimentary bottle of water and peanuts even if you are ready to pay for it.

I have flown Air Deccan (a similar no frills Airline) about a dozen times now with little or no hassles, these guys managed to go for the jugular with just one round trip, Spicejet is Sad !!!
