I have traveled with almost all airlines in India excluding jetlite & kingfisher. Jet is definitely better as compared to other airlines. Kingfisher is another premium airline and many colleagues who have traveled with kingfisher always recommend it. As far as economy travel is concerned, most airlines are at par with each other. But still spicejet gives you better deals as compared to others on certain routes.

Last year i was in goa for Adfest-Goa; the only international advertising festival in India and while coming back i had to go to mumbai as there is no direct flight to pune from goa. I booked the ticket on internet and the price was really tempting.
