I am booked on a Spicejet flight at 18:50, and I just got call abt the departure timing being changed to 21.05! Just like that!! My entire dinner plans and evening schedules have gone for a toss.

A rescheduled/delayed flight on Spice implies:
a> you either lose all your money and cancel your seat - book another ticket on another airline for twice the price
or
b> cancel your booking, and avail of a credit facility on Spice, wherein the amount to be refunded is adjusted on your next Spice flight
or
c> snarl and bear it, at the cost of all your day’s plans going down the drain

The worst part of all this is I can’t even speak to any Spice representative to rant at - no one answers the phones! GRRRR!!

I’ve opted for c, and I’m flying 3 hours later than planned...after reading all the reviews on Spice here, I don’t feel like taking a chance with the refund/credit facility.

I have flown Spice before and I must admit this is the first time this has happened. However, it is something that will make me think twice before I book my next Spice flight.
