Soumitra Chatterjee is the person whose I am an ardent fan. He is the actor for the first time in the Bengali movie who became really a super hero like any other comic book heroes. Though contemporary of the Great Uttam Kumar, yet Soumitra made his own recognition & stood in the same platform due to his versatile performances and was a huge crowd puller.
 
He is best known to Bengalis as their favourite Feluda, a character created by Satyajit Ray. Not only he played roles of a person having immense brain & courage, but also as a romantic lover, and villain in lot of movies.
