My baby had severe infection at birth, and was hard like wood or stone; so scary to see or touch. it is called sclerema, a very serious problem. It seems majority of such babies do not survive. Dr Vasanthamani of Malligai Hospital sent us to Dr Deepa Hariharan, Sooriya newborn unit.
Treatment was superb; daily we were shown details of treatment plan, pros and cons, in books and internet. After a huge battle, due to God's grace and Dr Deepa Hariharan and her team including sisters Tamil and Rameena, by baby is alive; high-technology unit, best doctor, good treatment, but average hospital, ; but my baby is alive, thanks, thanks, thanks. I want to spread this message to never give up on your baby.
