joystick concern,single port for headset/charging

planning to buy this phone for my sis who’s just out of school. wanted a mid segment phone with all essential features like: 2mpcam,mp3,bluetooth,radio. after going through quite a few phones my choice
zeroed down to k750i and lg dynamite. both are value for money phone’s but one great feature about dynamite is fm recording (at least i think). but like everyone knows lg is not a veteran in cell phone manufacturing at least in indian market and i’m sure it wont have an after sales support network to match sony ericsson. getting spares may also be difficult. keeping this in mind, i think that one great feature where DYNAMITE scores over SE can be ignored. coming to SE, it has a 2mp with FLASH which i dont think LG does. got auto focus and camera lens slide cover too. i was pretty sure of going for this phone however the only thing that bothers me is the launch of k550 i, however going through the reviews i figured that k550i scores over k750i only in terms of functionality but 750i still wins when it comes to camera/sound and costs 1.5k lesser too. when i say functionality i’m talking about stuff like quadband, edge, ease of file transfer and stuff like that. but when it comes to the essentials k750i still stands out. for a detailed comparision between the 2phones u can access this link MSN INDIA - Sony Ericsson Cybershot K550i .the best price in stores currently from what i looked around on the net would be 9100. some cell phone stores are selling 750i with bluetooth headset as default pushing up the price by a couple of thousand.. but thats not an issue at all i guess coz if u dont need it, why take it. its just a gimmick to push in an accessory. so going by all this i guess i should be going for this phone. i’ve got all this info just by literature and will be in a better position to write a review when i get to use it first hand, but at the moment it seems like full value for money but those ready to take a risk can go for dynamite, it too has all the features and costs 1k lesser, though SE looks better and is tried and tested. and yeah people, its time we got out from the habit of buying nokia phones!! lol.
PS: user friendliness may be a concern when compared to nokia but its just a matter of getting used to something new. and joystick is the only concern in SE phones, i hope it lasts!

Purchase Price: should be between 9 and 9.5
