Now, to start with, this model was released a lot of time ago. I saw that a lot of people dont know much about psp. I know a lot and I even own one. so I am gonna remove all your doubts and queries.
Ok. so bought it 7 months back and after a lot of experience with it , I am writing this..The psp e1000 costs rs 6990/- but I got it for rs 6800 at the showroom of SONY. so , it has no wifi like the psp 3000 which costs rs 1000 more than psp e1000. but I dont actually need wifi because there are not much places with wifi in india and I have learnt from some of my friends that its internet is slow. and , the psp 3000 is also discontinued almost everywhere so I could not find it
Next, its screen has the same size as psp 3000. but it has just 1 speaker. but the sound is stereo through headphones. so no big deal. and 1 BIG thing, most of the psp 3000 had some problems like the resolution becoming less after a lot of playing and the background became black.
Plus you also get a free game with it. but the headphones and the screen guard and cover will have to be bought from outside, even the usb cable. this is in all psp.it has an analog joystick and 2 shoulder buttons too. you have to buy umd for playing games. umds are cds specially made for psp and are quite expensive. I bought a tekken 5 cd for rs 800. but believe me, the game is worth of its price and, I dont play a lot of games.
I sometimes watch some videos which I convert and put in its video folder or sometimes I listen to music on it and watch my pics too. and if you want, you can crack your psp too. then you can get games for rs 30-50. and you can even download for free from torrents. but I havent cracked it. I will do it after some time when I get bored of my tekken and nfs carbon.

P.S.- if you have a lot of money, then you can buy psp go for rs 12990 which has bluetooth but it does not run umds. you can search for psp e1000 pics on google images. it has a bigger display than iphone and it has dynamic graphics and it has 0 memory. not even a kb. so you have to buy a memory stick. dont buy from sony, it is much expensive. I bought a 8gb memory stick of sandisk which costed rs 1800. but you can fint an adapter and insert a micro memory card in it.
