Recently bought sony PSP 3004 from dubai for 579 AED, I must say this is complete waste of money. I tell you why,
Game: PSP is known for game basically, which it play well and full marks to it. but sony want to sell omlet as well as bread for omlet by itself only, the reason is you cannot play any other game CD in it except sony which is not normal and you have to pay 55 dhiram for it.
Data Storage: you will surpise to know there is no memory in the sony PSP. you have to buy the card seprately(they do not give in the bundle). Again which is only sony M2 card and you have to pay heavy price then normal SD card. without card you cant even use it
User Manual: Sony only print user manual in all language except english So you have to learn by yourself operating it if you are english or indian
Vedio: First you can play only MP4 format in this. that too it should be in aspect ratio of sony suited else it will not play. other thing you have to really learn how to store those video in the card
Audio: well you can play mp3 music files into it. but the in build speaker quality is really bad. you must buy again seprate earphone(Not supplied along with it)
Web browser: This is one of the feature attracted me to buy sony psp but to my dismay it is really waste of time. the browser do not work properly and always gives javascript error in the latest firmware also.(6.0)
Connectivity: you have to buy seperate usb cable to attach it to your computer else you cannot transfer data into the card. well you can use card reader also if you have(again to be buought seperately). There is no bluetooth in it so every time you should have either usb cable or card reader
Skype: this is one of the attarctive feature but there is no camara in the psp. YOu have to again buy it seperately and getting camara for psp is again difficult because most of the dealer will not have it.
Photoes: you can save photo and view it in the psp. but need to learn in which folder what to save. because even if saved in different folder including creating folder named picuture and saved in it. it always say there are no picture stored in card.
Overall it is waste of money for me. You can buy a good phone these days with this amount which will have all these features.
