I bought Sony Home theater DZ100 some years back. The so called expert came in that time for demo, but had no idea where to fix the speakers. Anyways, the problem surfaced within a year and I had to call the service engineer. luckily it was repaired free of cost as it was still under warranty.
Few days back, again it stopped working and I had to take it to service station. After keeping it for 3 days, I got a call saying that the whole motherboard is faulty and will be replaced.. cost-Rs10000 (yes, its ten thousand). original price of the set was some 15000 (with 5.1 speakers)
I am sure i'll never buy a sony again.
