Shrinking Memories
Jan 05, 2009 11:53 AM 2061 Views

My review on music only captures emotions cause I write when I'm held by emotions.

Most songs "don't stand the test of time'. I still couldn't get over Latikas theme when I came across Ranjhana suggested by my friend.

It is a slow paced Punjabi track sung by Shilpa Rao and Kshitij with soul stirring lyrics by Shellee.

Does a song on separation make me miss my loss or does it make me humm words which wont reach.

I don't have answers and I kinda ignore questioning when I want to flow with the mood of the song.

Life is not lived without knowing seperation.

Without the agony of accepting the pain of an impossible communion.

Songs, poetry, music, literature, opera. just try to capture the emotion of loss.

Ranjhana a song from Dev D is recommended if you can just pause for a while and listen to your soul bow and accept the end of a love or a season.

Ending lines: "There is one pain I often feel, which you will never know.It is caused by the absence of you"

falling tears.
