Snapdeal.com = The by product of a Cr*pDeal and tactics to dupe the customer, raised to the power of people who breach their own company's internal Trustpay policy. Fraud to the limit tending to infinity!


I ordered a Sony Xperia ZL (White) from this site on the 11th of Aug. They gave me a shipping date of 13th Aug, and today is the 23rd and the item has not even been shipped. I have made almost a 100+ calls to their call centers and first up these buggers are trained to talk rudely and second, whenever I tell them that as per their own Trustpay policy.


If the product is not shipped within 3 days of the shipment date or not delivered in 10 days of the order placement, I am entitled to a full refund, they have the audacity to say "We cannot cancel the order, do whatever you want".


When I ask them to make me speak to their supervisors: "All supervisors are on call"


When I ask them to make me speak to a manager: "All managers are on leave"


This is worst than a sarkaari company. As per them, the company has not worked for 3 business days since the 13th. Everytime they give me the scripted bull crap "Wait for 24-48 hours", which never seems to come.


Their CSRs seem to get constipated and panicky when I ask them 2 very simple questions:




  1. When will the item be shipped ?




  2. Why do you want me to wait for 24-48 hours?






On 14th, the rep said "Order is being procured", so we cannot cancel.


My question - How can you even show the product on the site when the product doesn't even exist in your inventory ? The representative got constipated.


15th - "Holiday", so we cannot cancel.


16th - "Suddenly order goes out of stock. It is already 3 business days past the shipping date, but we will not cancel.


17th "Order ready to be picked up by courier",


18th "Weekend"


19th "Order suddenly again out of stock"


20th -  Systems down. Latest update - Order being procured. Duh!


21st - Ready to be picked up by courier.


22nd - Ready to be picked up by courier. 10 days of delivery time exceeded, but we will still not cancel.


23rd - No clue!


Don't trust this site. They are touts sitting to dupe the customers, and then breach their own policy that claims to keep the customer's money safe and they don't cancel the order because there is no cancellation policy within the company, it seems.
