SMIRNOFF VODKA Review

i was very, extremely surprised to see that smirnoff vodka had such a good rating here, however i am probably looking at it from a very different prospective from others.
Smirnoff is a triple distilled

vodka, known for its amazing purity. it is a strong, cheap spirit which can be mixed with orange juice. mixing with coke is most deffinately not recommended on my behalf. taken in shot form it is not a very smoothe spirit at all, very warm as it goes down and shoking after taste, it will make you spew after a good several shots. i have had two types of smirnoff vodka,

red label - a triple distilled, premium vodka, filtered 10 times. clear and pure, at 37.5%, approx. 21 standard drinks in a 700ml bottle.
NO 21
blue label - a tripple distilled, premium strength vodka, filtered 10 times, smoothe, strong, and pure. 43%. approx 24 drinks in 700ml bottle. NO 57

i first bought red label as it is about the cheapest, high strength spirit on the shelf. when i first started drinking it in shot form it didn’t seem too bad, from what i can remember of those nights; infact it did it’s job as a cheap spirit so well i bought it again about a week later. after finishing that bottle i decided to see what other types of vodka there are on the market. i discovered smirnoff blue label. at 43% for a quater of the price more, i couldnt resist. half a bottle of this got me so wasted, infact, this night put me off vodka for life so far. i tried to finish the bottle the following weekend but just couldn’t, i tried mixing it with orange juice but still could only consume enough to get tipsey before i gave the rest away. the moral of my story is. a great spirit at first, however you can over do the stuff. strong. shocking taste which only gets worse as you go, but if your taking shots to get smashed what does taste good? and for the price there is worse. quite bareable compared to some other vodka’s for sale. it will get you drunk, possibly make you spew if you have a reasonable amount with that after taste which hangs around. and does not make you too tired straight away like some drinks recommendation really depends on the persons taste buds. i much prefer scotch,whiskey any day!
