People say, Vodka is a woman’s drink. Sure it is.
It is mild, it is smooth, it is pure and it can be had in variety of combinations.
The simplest way to have Vodka is ’’on the rocks’’.
You can also add water and ice to it and have it in the second purest way.
Vodka is also popularly mixed with fresh orange juice!
Another popular Vodka-based cocktail is ’Bloody Mary’.
For those of you who have had it but don’t know how to make it, well here’s the recipe.
Take 3/4 glass of tomato juice. Add a dash of tobassco and squeeze half a lime into it. Add ice to your liking. To rim your glass with salt, as it is served outside, take a half-cut lime and run it around the edges of the glass. Then turn the glass upside down and with salt laid out in a plate, dip the glass in it. Pour the previously prepared tomato juice + tobassco + lime amalgam in it. And your bloody mary is ready to be had!
You can also try to have it with tonic water and again, lots of ice.
A lot of other cocktails can be made with a Vodka base.
For instance, it can be mixed with coffee liqueur, with white rum, apple juice, champagne, peach schnapps, tequilla, grape juice ...... almost everything.
So go ahead and try out a different cocktail each time and relish the drink a little more.
