Previously, I was just addicted to
Thums Up (Even now I am!) But basically, I stopped drinking Thums Up when the pesticides rumour came into picture. Though I still did not mind drinking it occasionally,
my parents had a lot of problems with me consuming it (I am fine with
Thums up now as all that is over). So I had no other option than to switch over to
Maaza and Slice. That’s when I discovered what I had been missing for since ages!
Before that, I considered
Slice to be a soft drink for kids mainly. But now let me tell you guys, this is amazing, really amazing!
With the pure unadulterated taste of mango, it feels like heaven.
It comes in only one bottle at present - the 200 ml one. Previously, it was available in 250 ml as well, but they stopped it for reasons best known to them. Of late, it has been introduced in big bottle of 500 ml. As a substitute, you have
Maaza too but I would prefer
Slice over
Maaza as the latter is very sweet, while this one is normal.
Coming back,
Slice contains added flavours and permissible colours apart from raw mangoes, but is, in no way, harmful. It tastes best when served chilled. Personally, just one bottle of
Slice never satisfies my desire of having it. I need atleast two at a go.
Slice is not one which can be used to quench your thirst. Obviously, being a liquid drink, it does help, but it gives more utility to those who love the taste of mango rather than to quench their thirst. Go for other soda soft drinks for that guys.
Overall, Slice is a ideal drink for mango lovers, who may go for it at any time, any day. I don’t mind drinking it even in winters. In a way, it also gives some energy. Not recommended for those who would like to have something hard; this is a simple sweet soft drink for you!
