The car in general is very good. Two niggles though, The first was the Engine ( Done under warranty) on a number of occasions would not fire up. Had the AA out on the first occasion and he just cranked it till it started took a minute or so. I took it to the dealer I bought it from ( Simpsons Skoda at Preston) They said it need some new software which they installed. Fault appeared again about 6 weeks later same symptons just cranked it till it spluttered into life. Returned it to Simpsons who played about with the injectors. Happened again about 6-8 weeks later, I now just crank it till it starts. The other niggle was a noise from the rear sounded like a bearing. This first started after about twelve months it started faintly and generated into a horrible noise especially at low speed. Took it back to Simpsons wereby the service manager came out to have a look. Said very abruptly its your rear tyres which are worn unevenly due to the rear suspension being out of adjustment. I asked how it had become out of adjustment and got a load of technial rubbish. I ended up having an argument with the service manager as he said both tyres will need to be replaced and the tracking reset at my cost as its not under the warranty. I was absolutely incensed I had the tracking done and I've never been back to Simpsons.
