For Skoda Lovers. Now my Octavia has covered 60, 000 KM
Main issue which annoy me was engine stops in slow speed. I solved this issue by adding a Petes performance kit. Hence torque increased and the issue solved. Also the need of frequent gear shift in city drive also solved.
Just Few Maintenance Costs. First let me tell you guys that I least cared this car still it gave no breakdown. At 55, 000 I did a major service and here is the cost.
Replacing Pulleys And Timing Belt etc 14, 000

Personally I don’t think the cost is too much I got back the car in showroom condition. Since she is loaded with synthetic engine oil service interval is 15, 000 KM.
And now the insurance is only 13, 000 Rs. So maintaining this car seems very easy.
To summarize….. Since it is very solid we can rough use it like anything.
