Love is always bestowed as a gift --
freely, willingly, and without expectation....
We don’t love to be loved; we love to love…

I like all love stories but this
is my all time favorite movie. I didn’t write review for this movie before as I thought I might not be able to do justice with a great love story like this. This is my birthday today so I couldn’t find any better topic than this to celebrate it with MS. I don’t know how relevant this review will be for those who are looking a typical movie review but if you want to read a personal note on this movie you must read this.

Movie in real life:
I watched this movie when I was in my graduation. I had seen several love relationships, making and breaking. I had an impression that there’s nothing called true love in real life. Sab matlab ke sathi hain. People just do timepass for few months or year and then do whatever they had planned or their family had planned for them. After watching this movie, I realized that sacrificial love might exist in real life, although I didn’t know how a person could fall in love with someone without even meeting her. I liked one very famous dialog of this movie “Dusro ka pyar ankho se suru ho kar dil tak pahunchta hai, humara pyar dil se suru ho kar ankho tak pahuchega”. I loved the way they sacrificed everything just for their love. But this movie became cherished for me, when I fell in love with a girl without even meeting her. It was my post graduation era. In my graduation and then in post graduation I was the only guy having no girlfriend and it was by choice not by chance. In my group, I was the single guy who was approached by so many girls but I always avoided close relationship with anyone. I never liked the way I saw relationships around me and that was the reason I avoided these all. But God had something else planned and it came in my way as well. When I used to say this is my favorite movie I never realized it might happen in real life as well but trust me I faced most of the incidents in real life. Starting from falling in love without even meeting the girl, compromising with a great job opportunity, declining to entertain other girls and do not accept a sizzling fairy tale offer. I had always heard that sweetness of success has utmost delight. But I experienced from life that bitterness of sacrifice has anytime higher value than sweetness of success.

First love is pure and innocent:
First love is a little foolish and with a lot of curiosity. Foolish because first of all we don’t even know that it’s love, we do some stupid things. We don’t even dare to talk with that person. Your heart beats faster but you can’t speak a word. When you see a glimpse of that person you feel winter like spring. You tend to say a lot but when the time comes, you feel shy. You start loving everything coupled with that person, the place she belongs to, the color she likes, the way she speaks, the way she smiles, her favorite movie, her favorite dish, her favorite song, just everything. It’s a feeling which you face first time and will never forget. The magic of first love is our ignorance that it can never end. We never forget those who make us blush first time. But remember first love can be dangerous and extremely painful when it is also the last.

Love needs care and understanding:
Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of withering, of tarnishing. Those who can provide sufficient pills for these illness and wounds will surely find their love never ending. We just need little care, little understanding, little dedication, little devotion and a little mind. As I had said in my earlier review friendship is a sweet responsibility, love is also a responsibility but sometimes it may taste bitter but we shouldn’t ditch it as it’s one the greatest gift of God. Remember bitterness of sacrifice has a higher value than sweetness of success.

Love is all we need:
The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration. Aristotle says that humans are social animals and they can’t live without a society. If you further excavate this statement you will find that basically we all need love in our live. We all want to love and to be loved by someone. We crave for someone who can listen to our silence. Have you ever noticed “listen” and “silent” both have similar words just kept in different orders? Can you really imagine living your life alone?

I wanted to write something special on this special day and that’s why I wrote this review. I know it’s not a typical movie review but I can surely say that the review is written for correct topic. At last a feeling which each one of us craves for.

What greater thing is there for two human souls that to feel that they are joined... to strengthen each other... to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories......
