When I was in 10th standard I.C.S.E., I needed coaching classes. My brother 2years elder guided me to Sinhal Classes, Grant Road. For me it was a complete new era, never having taken tuitions.
Sinhal Classes have comfortable AC seating rooms, fees is affordable. Coming to the teaching staff, they are experts in various departments having taught students for years. Prof. Mankad is the most senior professor teaching Maths & Statistics in all branches throughout Mumbai. Prof. Rane teaches Physics and Chemistry is taught by Prof. Unia. You will be divided into batches depending upon your 9th standard performance –A batch is for 75+% and is usually conducted in morning itself. This batch is given special training. Other batches may follow depending upon students at different times. Even the faculty may vary. The best part is that whichever batch you are in, you will have the situation of putting hard work. They not only give lectures but also give a home assignment to work out.
Their receptionist Sunita Maam is really friendly and helps students solve doubts on a 1 to 1 basis. Sinhals teach SSC, IGCSE as well. Regular test and result analysis are sent to parents at regular intervals. Some of their teaching staff work in Boards so they keep you updated about everything.
Just before the boards, they give us expert advice and time management skills. All previous 5 years papers are solved. Top 15 students get scholarship and can get their photos on leading sinhal posters. Also not to forget, Sinhal ‘Wall of Fame’ were exceptional students are applauded. Scholarships upto 1Lakh can be awarded to consistent students.
I was so happy to have scored 71% in ICSE and I also joined Sinhals for 11th and H.S.C.
For H.S.C., I scored 80% and got admission into engineering.
