My first experience in flying Air deccan was from Chennai - Bombay recently.

Previously i had booked a ticket from Chennai kolkata for my wife which was rescheduled thrice before the flight got cancelled and i had vowed then not to ever fly Air deccan.

But Alas the cheap fare made me rethink again and here i was flying Chennai-Mumbai

Starters the time flight was really irritating, 5.10 am thus had to wake up at 3.00 am, and left by 3.45 so as to reach airport around 4.45...and with heavy eyes got a boarding pass from a small counter at a discarded place in the Airport.

Boarded with goose bumps and found the flight packed with people.

Well the only thing that kept me awake through out the flight were the Air hostess
pretty decent ones, i must say for a low cost airline.... wore a pretty attractive dress with a light Saffron color top (if my color sense serves me right) and skirt- blue i think
but overall i couldnt stop myself from observing them... for a new airlines they managed well... and i think that was the highlight of the flight.

I personally feel that if they have their Mathematics right Air deccan will change the Color of Flying in India, Rs 2600 chennai- Mumbai was unthinkable only a year back and this was their 1 day before fare.

How they will manage to stay afloat is a lingering feeling but I surely wish they do...
because I cant think of catching a 2tier AC and travel for more than 24 hrs by train again.... well flight timings surely need a relook i was so scared of missing the flight that i hardly slept the night before, and this could be a reason for spending Rs 500/600 more and catch a more convenient flight.
