so after hearing so much about this "air deccan" , i finnaly get to ride it!!
we had been planning to go to shimla but didn`t want to experience those long hours on the road.so my father booked us tickets from shimla to delhi by air deccan.(thank god for that as with the recent landslides in the shimla highway, it was very difficult to reach there by road).We were very unsure about this as this sector is very risky as when only jagson airlines offered this sector most of the times the flight got cancelled.

But hats off to deccan for providing such a smooth flight in this sector.(now this review is not exactly pointing how good deccan`s services are as only 2 flight takes off from this airport,it`s just a 48 seater aircraft and just a 45 minutes journey.)our resort was about 40 km away from the airport, we barely managed to reach there as a landslide had caused a jam on the road.the flight was supposed to take off at 8:55 and with gr8 difficulty we reached there at 8:20.the airport staff had barely anything to do as there were only 20 passengers and just 2 flights take off from this airport daily.of course the check in was smooth and the security check effecient (the security was actually more than delhi airport)

surprisingly the flight landed before time at 8:25 and took off at 8:40 instead od 8:55(a pleasant surprise)the aircraft was an atr and was pretty effecient,
as there were only 20 people on a 48 people aircraft, so no seat numbers was no problems , instead we could luxiriosly choose our seats.
CABIN: the cabin was very clean and pleasant to the eye.the legspace was more than spicejet (but i cant compare as that was an boeing 737 packed with about 150 people and this was an atr 42 with just 20 people).
AIR HOSTESSES:well there was only 1 air hostess. she had a smile on her face and was very kind , beside managing 20 people is no big deal

FOOD:well u really dont need food on a 45 minute flight, but we still took it as we were up from 5:oo am and had had no breakfast.the variety and quality of food was more than spicejet,The sandwich, cake, peanuts, and cookies were from cafe coffee day and were pretty good (well of course u had to pay for them).

TECHNICAL: THE TAKE OFF AND LANDING WAS PRETTY GOOD for a propeller aircraft( atr isnt a jet aircraft but a propellor one).the flight time was supposed to be 1 hour and 15 minutes but only took about 45 minutes, wat a surprise.we took off at 8:40 and landed at 9:25 at the delhi airport, taking the luggage took only two minutes as there were 20 people only.

WELL THIS IS NOT A PROPER EVALUATION OF AIR DECCAN AS THIS IS A PRETTY SMALL ROUTE BUT I MUST CONGRATULATE AIR DECCAN FOR PROVIDING SUCH A SMOOTH AND EFFECIENT SERVICE IN THIS UNPROMISING SECTOR. AND IN JUST 45 MINUTES U ARE BACK FROM SHIMLA TO DELHI, CHEERS!!
