I started working right after my B com so I could not go to a regular collage for Master degree. Then I heard about the SMUDE from the offering correspondence course for all the streams of degree courses, which gave me freedom to study and continue my job at the same time.
The Admission process was quite easy where in I got the number from my college itself as they knew that I wanted to do a distance course. After calling up a number of times I got through the SMU-DE number as it was always busy, The counselor who picked up gave me satisfying answers to the doubts about the exam pattern, approvals etc. The counselor provided me the contact details about the learning centre in Vijaynagar. After the approval from my parents I went along with all my documents at the learning centre. The admission procedure would have been more easier if the counselor at the desk would have been more co-operative, as there was some confusion about the last admission dates, so I had to land up in paying the Rs 500 late fine.
The study material kit along with the I-card I received after 15 days. SMU-DE kept updating me with the latest information of the university happenings. With the help of SMU-DE and pride of selecting the right university, I have at last attained an MBA. Now I have a degree from SMUDE and also a good position in my company. So I just want to remove the myth that the people have about distance education of not getting the benefits after doing a distance MBA, but I am the core example of getting the benefits.
I really thank SMU-DE for providing the distance course firstly and for enlightening my career too.
