Signs, indeed, gives us something to think about. Not at all what I expected, the movie still sends a message that maybe the mysterious Signs being created in open fields are a way of communication for
alien life forms. Midway the movie the plot becomes obvious but still manages to captivate attention. The movie focuses on 1) crops (Signs)2) glasses of water, 3) alien life forms, and 4) flashbacks of the death of his wife (Mel Gibson’s character). Peeking through my fingers, occasionally covering my face with both hands, I anticipated the unexpected, hideous, face in the screen fright, but fear played a very small role in this movie. All-in-all, Mel Gibson was sensational.
