convent educated I couldn’t be able to read it (yes... what a shame..!!!). paN malaa tyA chitrapaTatalaa shevaTachaa prasang chaanglach aaThavtoy... when the boy loses his mother, and grief-stricken walks on the streets singing "Aai kuNaa mhaNu me..."  jyaanni ha chitrapaT paahilaa asel tyaanna to prasang aayushyaat kadhihi visarNa shakya naahiye. 
 Aai haa shabdach asaa aahe ki maaNus lagech haLvaa hoto.... The word mother, itself is packed with all love, emotions, warmth, care.... and all beautiful things in the world.  I am one of those lucky who still carry their mother’s shelter, on contradictory, I am one of those unlucky who have parted from their mother for purpose of job.
There are equally touching songs in marathi:  "Premaa swaroop Aai",  "Aai tujhi aaThavaN yete" and the one from the movie itself, "Aai kuNaa mhaNu me".  The truth that remains: "Tinhee jagaancha swami, Aai viNa bhikaari".
