If you are planning a quick outing near Bangalore, this is the place you would want to visit. This falls is located near ramnagaram, which is like a 2 hour drive from the Bangalore city. I loved the place totally.
I have been here more than 2 times with family and had a wonderful time. It is a very good place for photography and if you visit during monsoons, there is a lot of water and is fun to play.
You have to climb down the stairs to reach the falls, and people who can't climb down has benches above from where you cab view the falls and the view is beautiful on a cool day.
There are small round boats called'theppa' in the local language. It is so much fun to get into these boats. They charge you like 50 per head for a ride and take you near the fall and around and spin for a minute, which is really exciting.
Best place for weekend getaway.
There are no places to change if you get wet, so play in the water at your own risk and of course there are a lot of stones while going towards the water and most of them are slippery. Just be careful.
