John Mathew Mathan enthralled with Sarfarosh. Lets remember there was Aamir in it. Shikhar has a strong storyline but the hold is weak. While Ajay Devgan does well with his grey shaded role as a no holds
barred schemer in a bid to earn and earn, Shahid as the rich heir who falls prey to the guiles of Ajay and his moll Bipasha, fails to impress though his designer looks impress.Amrita Arora as the love interest has little to do but lives up. Bipasha as the moll is good as her own self. Javed Sheikh, the Pak Superstar has a good role to play and does well with his baritone voice as the Baba.
Its an extension of Swades in the second half after realization lands on Shahid. But taut direction and editing is missing from the movie. Music by Viju Shah also fails to do well.Overall its a fairly watchable movie. Ajay as the impatient businessman is the winner as usual and is ably supported by Javed and Bipasha.
