this is one of the most beautiful movies i have seen in a long long time. although the reviews have been shit, i found the movie to be inspiring and captivating.

there is not a single boring moment throughtout the movie and the film was extremely fast paced. Director John M. Matthan has shown that 6 years of hibernation was worth it to make movie like Shikhar.

Shahid Kapur is DEFINITELY the star of the movie. Although most of his films are super flops, he comes across as an amzing actor. John has succeeded in bringing out the best in Shahid. Perhaps Shahid is considered so good is because his nemisis (Ajay Devgunn) is even better. Amrita Rao looks beautiful and she is an important participant in the movie. Bipasha looks great - as her role requires her to do so. She even has some moving speeches which she executes perfectly. Jawed Sheikh is one of the most brilliant actors to ever step onto the screen. his expressions are marvelous and he is able to hold the movie together. Sushant Singh is the tensions releiver in the movie and is able to make all audiences laugh. Manoj Joshi has recieved a very large role in this movie in comparison to Sarfarosh. He has portrayed himself in a manner which beautifully suits the role of a corrupt politician.

On the whole: fcuk the critics coz they’ve done a shitty job in analysing the movie. The film is much more than Ajay Devgunn. Its about today;s generation and everyone MUST go see it. It is definitely the best movie of 2005......!!!!
