As the title suggests, I must say that SAMAR KHAN has done a
wonderful job by giving the nation such a nice movie - - SHAURYA.

Lawyer), KK Menon (as Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh), Javed Jafferey (as Major
Akash Kapoor, Army lawyer), Deepak Dobriyal (as suspended Capt. Javed Khan),
Minishha Lamba (as Dainik Bhaskar reporter Kaavya Shastri).


Dhamaakedaar Storyline: written by Jaydeep Sarkar, Aparna Malhotra,
Samar Khan. Nice story and ekdum fully packed Screenplay. Story basically
revolves roud SHAURYA..the courage. It includes courage of a lousy army
lawyer Sid to make an image in Army - ditto same as his father, who lost
life while fighting with the enemies on border, courage of a Reporter Kaavya,
who always try to tresspass Army areas for getting news, but when got an
oppertunity then she takes on responsibilty to find the truth out and help Sid
to shift on his top gear,  courage of two friends Sid and Akash who
were true friend, always take postings together at the same place and fights a
case against each other, yet it doesnt affect their frienship in personal life,
courage of an arrogant Brigadier Pratap, who thinks himself as the God
of the borders and wants to sweep out the Muslim religion, just because some
Muslim killed his entire family brutally, and then the courage of Captain
Javed, who shot his boss Major Rathore, because he was the ugly messaanger
of Brigadier Pratap for killing Muslims by making them false terrorists.

Sid tries to defend Javed without his help. Javed always stand by rules, but
become silent after killing Maj. Rathore. This make Sid to do his homework,
although he just like to be posted anywhere but didnt want to involve in any
case. Sid is a GenX guy who just want to enjoy life to its fullest, be it
paragliding or free fall or skiing etc, but didnt want to bear any burden of
responsibilities on his shoulders, but because of his dear dear friend Akash
(who was also the departmental lawyer), he got the case as the defense lawyer
against his friend Akash. And at last he proves that if he want then he can show
his spirit up.

Ultimate Scenes and Messages:
1. The moment when Sid realizes his power to bear responsibilities. He told
Kaavya that when he was young, he was climbing a rock alongwith his father, and
suddenly he breaks loose. Just then he saw down and he saw "KHAI"(the
valley), which inspired him to move up. Kaavya asks him whether he be able to
see that KHAI again. and Next Day, while jogging he saw a big mountain in front
of him standing tall. He see the KHAI now.

2.The moment when Sid bounce back to Brig. Pratap during a court session.
Earlier Pratap invited him for dinner and tell him the truth about his father,
how he died, he got so many bullets that no one was able to distinguish his
face even, and it takes hours to stich his whole body together. In reply next
day, Sid asks Pratap about an event inside the court which led to brutual
murders of Pratap’s whole family. Pratap’s wife was attacked by knife many
times and even his daughter was raped. This was the tit-for-tat for an arrogant
evil army officer.

3. In the last scene, Javed gave a salute to his life and pride saver Sid for
not only take him out clean off the case, but show the reality of fake
encounters being performed by Army in recent years.

Really, its take COURAGE to make a right movie..right!!
