Wanted an inverted AC for my bedroom, I calculated the annual usage at 1400 hrs After a lot of market survey short listed Sharp, Panasonic and Daikin. Went for Sharp. The product as such is very good also got the best price. I am happy with the product the AC package came with copper pipes, high quality insulation and even a pair of gloves and cleaning cloth was impressed with this.
I had read of poor service quality but being in Delhi I tried to ignore it as Sharp head office is in Delhi and Delhi sells a lot of ACs, however the installation was a problem and the service people turned up after 2 days of my wasting time at home and multiple calls from Dealer to the service center and the service center in west Delhi making false promises multiple times, although my dealer was one of the bigger chains in Delhi, was really frustrated.
Finally when the installed the job was shabby two major things that went unnoticed as I had to go out during final completion
The service person hung the stabilizer with support of 1 inch nails at 8 feel over the floor I was shocked and moved it my self after redoing the wiring, cannot imaging if some elderly folks get it installed
That idiot did not remove the cardboard packing sheet behind the outdoor unit this was stopping air flow and I by change noticed it was against the wall and no one would have knows I was cleaning that area and saw part of cardboard coming out this would have stopped the air flow and might have damaged the unit.my say is very good product(till now) but very bad service I just hope I don't have to call the service guys ever.
Don't recommend to any one staying outside the metros.
